There are two things that must be done before compiling.
1. You must select a Makefile. If you run AIX, then do:
cp Makefile.aix Makefile
otherwise, choose the other one:
cp Makefile.bsd Makefile
2. You must edit define.h to select your machine type. By default, this
is BSD43 and will work with most machines. If your machine type is listed,
then replace the #define for BSD43 with yours, as it is shown in the list.
Example:
#define SUN4 1
Then type 'make'. If all goes well, you should be able to call up the
AZTE with this client.
The program 'hi' takes two optional arguments, sitename and portnumber.
Example:
hi ziggy.econ.arizona.edu 15478
(This host and portnumber are the defaults.)
